22. Information Collected While Using the Website
- In addition to receiving identifying details about you that you provide on your own initiative, a great deal of further information may be collected while using the website. The information is collected automatically and may include, among other things, the pages viewed on the website, actions carried out on it, the links selected on it, the websites from which visitors arrived at the website, the length of time spent on the website, the operating systems used by the website’s visitors, their internet browsers, the countries they are in, and the like.
- Likewise, the website may use data and non-personal identifying information in order to determine how long visitors stayed on each of the website’s pages, how many visitors browsed the website and how we can better adapt our web pages to the needs of visitors. The website may accumulate this data and make use of it as aforesaid.
- For example, the Company’s website may use "cookies" or other technological tracking means, which are in effect files placed/located on the visitor’s computer by the website’s web server and which allow the visitor to be identified. The cookies can provide information about the type of computer, the computer and browsing software the visitor uses, information about the IP address from which the customer connected/contacted the website, and collect statistical data about the use of the website, in order to adapt the website to the user’s personal preferences and for information security purposes.
- In addition, the Company may collect and make use of the services of third parties (for example: Google Analytics, Facebook and Instagram, and others) to collect and analyse anonymous, statistical or aggregate information in connection with the use of the website, including information relating to your details and your activity on the website, in order to analyse activity on the website and to track the behaviour of visitors on the website (clicks, entering links, etc.) and their areas of interest. It is clarified that this policy does not cover or relate to the manner in which third parties use cookies or their tracking means. These services are loaded only if you have allowed the relevant category in the consent dialog, as detailed below.
- Use of the website does not in itself constitute consent to the installation of "Cookies" or tracking means. Other than the files necessary to operate the website — remembering the language you chose, forms and security — no measurement, advertising or third-party tracking tool, including those listed above, is loaded until you have given prior, express consent in the consent dialog shown when you enter the website. Consent is given separately for each category (measurement, advertising), is stored in your browser alone, and can be changed or withdrawn at any time through the "Cookie settings" link at the foot of every page. Withdrawing consent does not affect your use of the website.
- In addition to the consent dialog on the website, modern browsers include an option to refuse Cookies. If the user does not know how to do so, they should check the help file of the browser they use. However, disabling Cookies may cause the website not to be adapted to you and/or the user being unable to use some of the services and features offered on the Company’s website or on other websites.
